I have, finally, taken the book off my shelves, the original version that came out in 2013, and am reading it. It caused a scandal in France and hysteria followed when it was discovered that the author, Laurent Obertone, wrote brilliantly and, what was worse for the dream merchants: his research and documentation was impeccable:
The back cover reads:
Investigation of a taboo subject:
The re-barbarising (I cannot find a satisfactory translation for the French word " ensauvagement" hence what might be my slightly abortive attempt at creating a neologism) of a nation:
Every 24 hours:
This was published in 2013 and most of the cases the author documents date from 2011-12. So you can be sure that it the ensauvagement of France has become substantially worse.
"One of the most dangerous errors is that civilisation is automatically bound to increase and spread. The lesson of history is the opposite; civilisation is a rarity, attained with difficulty and easily lost. The normal state of humanity is barbarism, just as the normal surface of the planet is salt water. Land looms large in our imagination and civilisation in history books, only because sea and savagery are to us less interesting.”
This one below is just one of many videos of this kind that I see flicker across my desk, every day ..... watch it, it's a short and VIOLENT testimony of the savagery piercing the thin veneer of our civilisation, but: watch it only if you are interested in facing reality: The uninvited guests are attacking their "tolerant and generous" host's most vulnerable sides: their children:
Putting the above into a kind of rhyming nutshell is Al Wilson:
This is happening right now as I write (even if you may read it sometimes later).

There is an ongoing police operation in Munich, following a knife attack on 21 October. Munich Police have advised people to avoid the areas of Rosenheimer Platz, Munich Ostbahnhof and Munich Ostpark. The level of advice has not changed. Exercise normal safety precautions in Germany, and be aware of the increased threat of terrorism.
